My Role

My role was to create a website that would showcase their work in a more professional way than their existing website which was outdated, and didn't abide by new SEO best practises.

Project Overview

A major part of this project was rethinking the structure of the website, and how would best to optimise the pages for search engines. This meant doing some extensive keyword and competitor research before creating the sitemap.

Once this was done I came up with some ideas of how to feature their content in more appealing ways for better user experience. A good example of this is the downloadable product sheet section explained in more detail below.

After explaining the benefits of WordPress to the client, it seemed the most viable CMS to use since it boasts both easy-management and functionality.

Product Sheets Since Mediatec has a library of LED screen product sheets hosted on their website, I had to come up with a solution to best display them. I came up with the idea of using a filtering system which would make finding the correct sheet a lot faster.
Mediatec Case Studies
Case Studies In addition to have a blog-style news section on their website, Mediatec wanted to showcase the events that they had been a part of.
